The Evangelism Ministry understands that every human being is destined for salvation and not hell. This knowledge gives them a passion to reach out and share the message of God’s love to all mankind.
Their purpose is to bring the message of salvation to those who don't know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
The Evangelism team will go out once a week to local communities and share the love of God with people and offer them the opportunity to get born again and also visit the elderly homes, hospitals, prison and the market places.
They do this through all means possible and with all the resources at their disposal e.g. internet etc.
They have a burden for souls in the city of Gloucester and the whole world at large.
They pride on the motto: “Reaching one at a Time!”
In case you are not born again and would like to receive Jesus Christ as your lord and saviour, please pray the following prayer:
STEPS OF SALVATION:
Acknowledge that you are a sinner
“ for all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God” (Romans 3:23)
Repent of your sins before God
Jesus said, “I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:32)
Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s son, He died on the cross to take our punishment for sin, and that God raised Jesus from the dead so that we can have a personal relationship with Him.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, you and your household” (Acts 16:31)
“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the Name of the only begotten son of God.” (John 3:18)
“Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (John 20:29)
Confess Jesus Christ as your own personal Saviour
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)
“... if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Romans 10:9-10)
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins” (Ephesians 1:7)
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he (or she) is a new creation; old things have passed away, behold, all things are made new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
A Prayer of Response: (please pray the prayer below)
Dear God,
I admit that I am a sinner and have fallen short of your standards. I repent of my sins. Please forgive me.
I choose to turn away from everything that is wrong and follow you and your leading, instead of mine own.
Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross so that I can be free of the punishment that I deserve.
I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead.
I ask Jesus to come into my life right now. Thank you that I am forgiven and made new.
Amen.
